Life Lately

Helloooooooo, friends!!!!

So here I am again!  Life has been busy, but settling out a little.  And I feel like doing a fun post for once, so here ya go!  🙂

Seeing… the beautiful snow outside today.

Hearing… little sisters giggle their heads off while supposedly cleaning up after supper.

Tasting… Mom’s delicious blueberry lush (and it’s even sugar free!).

Needing… sleep, and a lot of it. 🙂

Wanting… to go on another mission trip to Jamaica…really bad.

Regretting… all the days I skipped prayer time in order to get sleep :/  Convicted for sure!

Feeling… thankful for the Lord’s blessings.

Thinking… about everything at once. Literally everything, if that’s even possible.

Laughing… at all the funny things little children say.  😀

Believing… that the Lord is and will always be faithful to His children.

Anticipating… the visit of Cal Zastrow (an awesome pro-life missionary speaker) and his family to our church on March 8, drama camp, and SUMMER!

Praying… that we would keep our priorities straight and always be open to the Spirit’s leading.

Reading… Miss Manners’ Etiquette, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, and Wrestling Prayer (the latter by Eric and Leslie Ludy).

Singing… Your Grace Still Amazes Me by Phillips, Craig, and Dean.  Love that song!

Wearing… Sunday clothes, minus the scarf and an with extra warm jacket.

Preparing… for the next week of craziness.

Remembering… last night’s crazy, fun, and hilarious activities with friends after our Bible study.  🙂

Trying… to learn to try new things.  I’m not the change-loving type, so it’s a stretch!

Loving… my awesome group of friends and my crazy siblings (and the weird one…you know who you are).  😉

Choosing… to hold each area of my life in an open hand.  It’s not always easy, but it’ll be worth it.

Holding… my one-year-old sister.  🙂 mg mj j p.vm  (that there was her two cents, by the way)

Texting… ha!  I have six contacts, people.  And all but two of them are in my family.  🙂

Turning… into a zombie because I always crash on Sundays.

Recognizing… the children’s geography song my older brother and sister are singing with great drama. Did I mention that my siblings are crazy?

Checking… my email a TON yesterday to see if the homeschool drama play was casted yet from auditions on Friday.  We did get the parts this morning!  🙂  I may or may not have woken up at 4:13 AM and checked for it…but I didn’t wake up on purpose!

Organizing… is nothing an answer? :/

Practicing… guitar, especially fingerstyle.

Smiling… because I’m alive and HE is faithful and worthy of praise!

Hannah, I really miss your daily ( or maybe more than that) hugs and encouragement. I think the trip you are on now is the longest anyone in our family has gone on away from home. Miss y’all Gringa girls!

😀 I love all of the fun details in this post! Which outfit were you wearing today? The black one with the purple scarf?

Commenting again because I forgot to click the follow up by email box and know I won’t think to come back to this post. 🙂

I may or may not have even realized that I was singing that song…..!! I was way too caught up in trying to beat Charles in the game!!! Besides, I’m still slap happy. Yep, that had to have been it….. or maybe it was perfectly normal for me……….

Thanks for the compliment, by the way. If everyone was normal, life would be boring! 😉
